2016-2018 Exploring Interoception in Transit
From 2016-2018 I used my journals to document the relationship of my body and mind. During this time, I kept my journal with me always. I also began a dedicated practice of yoga, which directly impacted my approach to drawing and is visible in these journal entries as I charted my heartbeats, breath, and scanned and drew the movement of my muscles, blood, and vision. Arrows and mapping signals move through these drawings and I read them like maps of my past selves.
